Recent Projects

During 2016, four construction projects were completed or under construction in Georgetown:

  • UDF Gas Station expansion
  • New Marathon Gas Station
  • New HealthSource building
  • New ODOT building

The former Southwest Regional Medical Center was acquired by Oglethorpe Inc. which will be investing $1 million in the property to transform it into at 60-100 bed behavioral health facility. This facility will be treat patients dealing with addiction and other mental health issues and is projected to employ 250 people.
