It is my honor to serve as the Chief of Police for the Georgetown Police Department. Since graduating from the academy in 2006, I have dedicated my career to law enforcement, with a significant portion of that time spent serving the Georgetown community. I have also had the privilege of working with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office before returning to Georgetown as Assistant Chief and, subsequently, as Chief of Police. Throughout my career, I have held numerous supervisory roles and instructor positions, which have equipped me with the experience and knowledge necessary to lead our department effectively.
As Chief, my primary goal is to foster a safe and vibrant community where residents and businesses thrive. I am committed to ensuring our department operates with transparency, professionalism, and a genuine dedication to public service. For our employees, I aim to create an environment that emphasizes growth, accountability, and teamwork, empowering each member of our team to excel in their roles and serve the community with integrity and compassion.
Thank you for your continued trust and support. Together, we can build a stronger, safer Georgetown.

The Safety Pup Program is an educational initiative developed in partnership with the National Child Safety Council (NCSC) to teach children important safety lessons in a fun and engaging way. Topics covered include stranger danger, traffic safety, and drug prevention, all delivered through interactive presentations and the lovable mascot, “Safety Pup,” to make the learning experience both memorable and impactful.
The Georgetown Police Department, serving the community of Georgetown, Ohio, actively participates in this program as part of its commitment to community safety and outreach. By collaborating with the NCSC and using programs like Safety Pup, the department works to build trust, educate its youngest citizens, and promote a safer environment for all. Safety Pup Day is celebrated on February 12th.
Safetypup was first introduced to the world on February 12, 1985, since his introduction, Safetypup has proven to be a successful learning tool used by law enforcement officers and teachers across the country.
The Georgetown Police Department is proud to serve beyond the badge — investing in our youth, celebrating our community partners, and creating lasting memories for families. Explore our programs below.

“Some people say leaders are born, I believe they are made. Made through education, choices, perseverance, and a dedication to putting others before themselves. They are shaped by teachers, parents, mentors, community members, and role models who demonstrate leadership, compassion, integrity, and service in their own daily lives. True leadership is built by those willing to serve, inspire, and continue forward even when the path is difficult and recognition is lacking. I am incredibly proud of each of these students and grateful for the opportunity to watch them grow into young leaders within our schools and community. Their character, compassion, and willingness to help others is exactly what the Blue Line Leaders Program is all about.” ~ Chief InlowThe Georgetown Police Department would like to congratulate all of the students at Georgetown Schools on their accomplishments, achievements, and hard work throughout the school year. We are proud of the dedication, growth, and positive impact so many students continue to show within our schools and community. We would also like to give a special thank you to all of the students and staff who participate in our Blue Line Leaders Program. These students continue to demonstrate leadership, compassion, integrity, and a willingness to help others — values that the Blue Line Leaders Program is built upon.
Through the generosity of our local business community, the Georgetown Police Department was able to raise funds to purchase a Side by Side ATV/UTV to support our community operations. We are deeply grateful to each of the following sponsors who made this possible.
Wrapping up an incredible 2025 Shop with a Cop! As we close out 2025, the Georgetown Police Department and our partners across Brown County want to say thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Shop with a Cop such a success.
Because of our generous donors, dedicated officers, Santa Claus, Georgetown Church of Christ, Chaperones, and a supportive community, local kids were able to enjoy a holiday experience filled with smiles, laughter, and lasting memories.
We’re proud to serve a community that truly shows up for its families. From all of us at Georgetown PD and Brown County — thank you, and we look forward to doing it all again next year.
